Der Megreditchian Holds On to Triple Up

Olivier Murrachioli raised to 10,000 in early position and Ionel Manole called in middle position. Victor Der Megreditchian then moved all in for 27,000 on the button and both opponents called.

Murrachioli and Manole checked down the 6♣J♥8♦9♠4♦ board. "One pair," Der Megreditchian said, turning over 3♦3♠.

"Ace," Murrachioli replied as he showed A♠10♠. Manole mucked A♥Q♦ and Der Megreditchian tripled up with his threes.

"This is professional poker," he said.

It was a flip until Sidhu made a set on the J♥10♣2♠ flop but the job wasn't done yet as Soldermann had a gutshot. The 4♣ turn then gave Soldermann a flush draw but the 5♠ river was a brick and Sidhu doubled up.

Karpati Stuns Vlachos on the River

Heads-up on a flop of 9♣10♦6♥, Andreas Vlachos bet 31,000 from middle position and Imre Karpati called in early position.

The turn was the 5♥ and Vlachos moved all in for around 50,000. Karpati took a minute before calling with 8♣8♦, but he found himself behind Vlachos' Q♣Q♦.

The river was the 7♦ and Karpati slammed the table after making a straight to win the pot. Vlachos laughed off the bad beat and made his way to the exit.

"Why couldn't I have a board like that when he had aces," Robert Schiffbauer said, reminiscing over his pot against Emanuel Flesner earlier.

Flesner Picks Off Schiffbauer With Aces; Nahm Cut Off By the Floor as Gilboa Gets a Penalty

Robert Schiffbauer raised to 8,000 in early position and Emanuel Flesner called in the cutoff.

The flop came 5♠8♦8♠ and Schiffbauer bet 10,000. Flesner called to see the 9♥ turn.

Schiffbauer then bet 18,000 and Flesner again called. The river was the K♣ and Schiffbauer slid forward a bet of 44,000.

Flesner snap-called, believing he was all in for his last 46,500, and turned over A♠A♦. Schiffbauer had 6♠6♦ and argued that he should get 1,500 back since Flesner just called his river bet.

"I believe you," Flesner said as he virtually doubled up.

At the same time at another table, Stephen Nahm moved all in from the small blind on a board of 8♠6♦4♥5♦4♦ and received no callers. Uri Gilboa then picked up Nahm's cards and revealed 10♣7♣.

The floor was called over and Gilboa was given a penalty for exposing Nahm's cards. Tournament officials also told Nahm that he's cut off from ordering any more drinks tonight.

Talbot's Spin Up Halted

Parker Talbot had just doubled up, winning with ace-queen versus ace-jack, to see his stack rise to around 49,000. The following hand he had his chips over the line once more, moving all in after Francesco Modafferi opened to 8,500. Action folded back to the Italian, who called as the bigger stack.

The action folded to Luigi Minolfi who raised to 8,500 from the button. After a brief moment of thought, Fintan Hand decided to three-bet to 30,000. Minolfi then reached into his stack and raised to around 70,000, prompting an immediate all-in from Hand. Minolfi called without hesitation.
