Masset Flushes Out Wan to Take Chip Lead

Florence Masset opened to 7,000 from the button and Kit Yee Wan called from the small blind.

The flop came 10♣8♣6x. Wan checked, Masset bet 7,000 and Wan called.

Masset bet again when checked to on the 4♣ turn, this time for 15,000. Wan moved all in for roughly 45,000 and Masset called with a covering stack to put Wan at risk.

Florence Masset: K♣5♣

Both players had connected with the board in a big way; Yan held top pair and the nut flush draw while Masset had turned the second-nut flush. The Qx river was a brick and Masset scooped a massive pot while Wan was sent to the rail.

The flop came K♠7♦8♦ and Reilly check-called a 4,000 bet from Brenie.

Both players checked the 10♥ turn leading to the J♠ river. Reilly bet 10,000, Brenie moved all in for 20,000 and Reilly made the call with a covering stack.

Reilly showed 9♦9♣ for a jack-high straight but Brenie tabled A♣Q♦ for the nut-straight to score a full double up.

Korak Falls to Werstler

Melanie Dufour opened to 6,000 from under the gun and Tara Werstler called from middle position. Brigitte Korak moved all in from the hijack for 11,000 and received a call from both opponents.

Both players checked the K♦K♥5♠ flop leading to the 9♦ turn. Dufour checked, Werstler bet 12,000 and Dufour folded leaving Korak at risk against Werstler.

Korak was drawing dead against Werstler's full house and made her exit from the tournament area after the A♥ river while Werstler continued to add chips to her stack.
