Gottiparthi Takes a Chunk out of Charette

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Srinivas Gottiparthi
Srinivas Gottiparthi

With two players seeing a board of 10326 and roughly 70,000 in the middle, Duff Charette had bet 65,000 from the hijack sending Srinnivas Gottiparthi briefly into the tank.

"I'll even show you what a great fold you made" Charette told his opponent after about a minute had passed. Shortly afterwards Gottiparthi raised to 165,000, leaving about 120,000 behind. Charette moved all in with a covering stack and Gottiparthi made the call.

Srinivas Gottiparthi: A7 All in
Duff Charette: 106

Charette had turned two pair but was in rough shape against Gottiparthi who had turned the nut-flush. Charette failed to improve to a full house on the 8 river and Gottiparthi dragged in a colossal pot.
