The Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas will be packed to the rafters from May 28 through July 17 as thousands of poker players descend on Las Vegas, sharing the common goal of returning home with a coveted gold bracelet and a suitcase stuffed with cash. Those players will have ample opportunities to realize those dreams because the 2024 WSOP schedule boasts a record number of bracelet-awarding events: 99 in total.

Numerous iconic tournaments return for the 2024 WSOP, including the $10,000 Main Event, $50,000 Poker Players Championship, and $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship, but several other events make their debut during the 2024 World Series of Poker, not least the inaugural $600 PokerNews Deepstack Championship No-Limit Hold'em event! Shawn Daigle opened to 20,000 from under the gun, Behnam Esfahanizadeh shoved for roughly 80,000 from the hijack and Daniel Le re-shoved for roughly 115,000. Daigle got out of the way leaving Esfahani at risk against Le.

Esfahanizadeh was dominated by a bigger ace and couldn't catch up on the K♣Q♦6♦7♦10♥ runout resulting in his elimination while Le took down a healthy pot.

Stacey Sullivan, who had recently been left short-stacked after running into pocket kings with pocket queens, was all in preflop with Kx7x. Graham Lupton had called her with 10x9x suited and managed to improve to the winning hand at showdown to send Sullivan to the rail in 23rd place.

With three players seeing a board of 9♥10♦6♥8♦ and roughly 125,000 already in the middle, Renmei Liu bet 50,000 from the big blind and was called by Jovan Santiago who was under the gun and Richard Mullen on the button.

On the 6♦ river Liu checked and Santiago moved all in for 277,000. Mullen made the call with a covering stack.

"I guess my six-seven is no good" Liu commented before tossing his cards into the muck.

Santiago had K♦Q♦ for a rivered straight but Mullen tabled 10♠10♣ for a rivered full house to take down a gargantuan pot while sending Santiago to the rail in brutal fashion.
