Guillen Gets it All

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Stephane Edme opened in middle position to 11,000 before Samuel Guillen cold-called on the button. It then folded to Senthuran Vijayaratnam in the big blind who put in a three-bet to 55,000. Edme flat called and then Guillen came from the top rope with a back jam for 165,000.

It was then on Vijayaratnam who went into the tank for a moment before rejamming. Edme got out of the way and the cards hit their backs.

Anthony Potis
Anthony Potis

The action was opened in early position to 7,000 by Anthony Potis before it folded to the cutoff who called and the remaining players folded.

The KQQ flop landed and the action quickly checked through to a 9 turn. Potis put his foot back on the gas and put out a wager of 6,000. The cutoff called.

The 10 river landed and Potis snap-checked it over to the cutoff who sat in the tank for a moment before betting 12,000. Potis went into the tank and after a moment he reached and grabbed some raising chips before throwing out 38,000. The cutoff snap-called and got the bad news.

Potis tabled AJ for the nut straight and the cutoff flashed jack-ten before his cards hit the muck. Potis dragged a healthy pot and is now sitting a bit above the average.
