The Final Two Flights of The RunGood Poker Series Reno Main Event Begin Today.
With a hefty $150,000 guarantee, The Rungood Poker Series sees its biggest event’s second leg kick off today at The Atlantis Casino in Reno, Nevada. A total of 122 players saw their way into the first pair of flights yesterday, with only 14 surviving into the second day.
Leading the way is Steve Nevius who bagged 603,000. Nevius is no stranger to tournament poker, holding $129,058 in Hendon Mob earnings. He has cashed in two prior RGPS events, with a third place in last year’s iteration of the Seniors event at Reno. Rounding out the podium is Brittney Barnes (574,000) and Day 1b’s chip leader Andrew Fredericks (454,000). Others who found their way to a bag included Sarah Sherman (191,000), Levi Klump (160,000), Rory Lucero (148,000), and defending champion Stacey Berger (128,000).

Some are expected to make another appearance like Tyler Patterson, Bob Mather, Lexy Gavin-Mather, Victor Paredes, Lindsey Kludt, Papa Karn, and Ian Steinman. Each one of them is looking for a piece of the prize pool and a spot in RGPS history.
Players will begin with 30,000 in chips with blinds beginning at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. The levels will last 30 minutes, with a 15-minute break at the conclusion of every four levels. Registration will close at the beginning of level 9, with play continuing until the field has reached 12.5% rounded down. This flight has unlimited re-entry.
