Level 26
Scott Bohlman - 6th Place.
Scott Bohlman - 6th Place.

Razz

Scott Bohlman called a bet from Tom Schneider on fourth street with a seven-eight against Schneider's five-four. He called again on fifth despite catching another seven, and had little choice but to call off his last 13,000 on sixth.

Schneider: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}/{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Bohlman: {2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}/{7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Schneider squeezed out a {6-Hearts} to make a nine-six. Bohlman needed an ace, four or five to survive. He peeked down to see a {10-Hearts} though, and his run is over.

O'Dell's Low Beats Porter

Level 26

Razz

Frankie O'Dell completed on third street showing the {5-Diamonds}. Rep Porter, with the {5-Spades}, was the only caller. Porter bet out after receiving the {8-Diamonds} on fourth street, and O'Dell called after being the {j-Clubs}. Porter bet again after adding the {9-Hearts} to his board on fifth street, and O'Dell again called after receiving the {8-Clubs}. Porter checked his {10-Spades} on sixth street, and O'Dell checked behind with his {6-Hearts}. Porter then check-called O'Dell's river bet, and O'Dell showed {3-}{4-}{6-}{5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for an eighty-six. Porter mucked, and O'Dell raked in the pot. He is now up to 280,000.

One for Porter

Level 26

Omaha Eight or Better

Rep Porter raised after action folded to him in the cutoff, but Tom Schneider decided to bump it up with a three-bet to 90,000. Porter called.

Porter then check-called a {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop. Both players checked the {j-Clubs} turn and {6-Spades} river. Porter showed {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, and his jacks and sixes took the pot.

Ahmed (Almost) Doubles Up

Level 26

Hold'Em

Tom Schneider raised from under-the-gun, and Owais Ahmed three bet from the button. The blinds folded, and Schneider called. The flop was {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Schneider checked, then called Ahmed's bet and the players saw the {j-Spades} turn card. Schneider again checked and then called Ahmed's bet, and the dealer revealed the {10-Spades} on the river. This time when Schneider checked and Ahmed bet, Schneider went into the tank. He counted out chips for a call, then put them back in his stack, and eventually said, mostly to himself, "I can't figure out what I can beat." Soon after, he folded face-up, showing {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. Ahmed pushed his cards forward without showing them, and raked in the pot.

Action Slowing Down

Level 26

Action has slowed down a bit as we approach the dinner break. Most hands, a player wins only the blinds and antes, and with no one in imminent danger of busting out, we might need to wait until the next level before the action picks up again.
