Thiagarajah Finds Miracle Flop To Eliminate Opponent

Ragavan "Hitmy1outer" Thiagarajah
Ragavan "Hitmy1outer" Thiagarajah

Blinds: 150/300/30

Ragavan "Hitmy1outer" Thiagarajah opened to 700 from middle position and Katie "katelin" Lindsay three-bet from the hijack to 2,100. It folded to Drew "Bigpavelski" Soik on the button and Robert "Rsamuels" Samuels in the small blind who cold-called.

Thiagarajah elected on a four-bet to 8,032 and Lindsay quickly folded. Soik moved all in for 25,088, Samuels got out of the way and Thiagarajah called with the bigger stack.

Drew "Bigpavelski" Soik: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Ragavan "Hitmy1outer" Thiagarajah: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Soik got it in well ahead but when the board ran out {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, it was the pair of aces that came out on top, scoring the win for Thiagarajah and eliminated Soik from the event.
