Jarvis Fades the Flush to Double

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Andrew Fahey opened to 300,000 from middle position and Sebastien Bourget raised to 600,000 from the next seat over. Joseph Jarvis then moved all in for 2,300,000 from the big blind. Fahey got out of the way while Bourget made the call with a covering stack to put Jarvis at risk.

Joseph Jarvis: AK
Sebastien Bourget: A10

Jarvis was well ahead on the JJ7 flop but the 5 turn gave Bourget some more outs in the form of a flush draw.

"Black card, black card..." Jarvis said as he awaited the river. He got exactly what he needed when the river was the brick 2 and collected a massive double up at Bourget's expense.

Clusiau Keeps Climbing

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Colin Neil Agnew limped in from the small blind and Alexandre Clusiau raised to 240,000 from the big blind. Agnew made the call.

The flop came 1053. Agnew checked and Clusiau bet 300,000. Agnew moved all in and Clusiau called to put Agnew at risk.

Colin Neil Agnew: A10
Alexandre Clusiau: JJ

Agnew's top pair was no good against Clusiau's overpair and he found no improvement on the 6 turn or 6 river resulting in his elimination while Clusiau extended his chip lead over the rest of the field.

Nezam Making a Comeback

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Wali Nezam
Wali Nezam

Wali Nezam moved all in for 370,000 from the button and was called by Azim Popatia in the big blind who had a covering stack to put Nezam at risk.

Wali Nezam: K7
Azim Popatia: AA

Nezam was in rough shape until the K75 flop gave him top two pair leaving Popatia drawing to just five outs. The 4 turn and 9 changed nothing and Nezam, who had begun the day with the shortest stack at just 58,000, scored a full double up through Popatia. Nezam currently holds nearly 15 times the amount of chips he begun the day with.
