Dawson Gets Chopped Up by Four Kings

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

After a preflop betting war, Charles Dawson, Tony Bunch, and David 'Lefty' Diaz all got their chips into the middle in a massive three-way all in, with Bunch covering.

Charles Dawson: 1010
David Diaz: KK
Tony Bunch: KK

"Ok, all I need is a ten!" Dawson said as all three players stood up. Unfortunately for him, no ten came on the [2s5d09d2h9h] board and he was eliminated while Diaz and Bunch chopped the pot.

Simon Spikes Set of Sevens; Corrigan Exits

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

On a heads-up flop of 8J7, Jack Corrigan and Warren Simon got all the chips into the middle, with Corrigan covering.

Corrigan flipped over 78 for a flopped two-pair but he was in bad shape once SImon tabled 77 for a set of sevens.

Only an eight or running jacks could give him the win, but the runout of 22 improved Simon to a full house and he was awarded the pot for the double.

Corrigan was then left short after that and he exited a few hands later.

Panjwani Forces Fold from Staats

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Kassim Panjwani opened to 75,000 and then was raised to 225,000 by Chris Staats. After the action folded back to him, Panjwani made the call and they went to a flop of 7210.

Both players then opted to check and they continued to the turn A, which saw a bet of 125,000 from Panjwani and a call from Staats.

On the J river, Panjwani fired again, this time for 430,000, and Staats went into the tank.

After about a minute, Staats folded his hand face-up, showing AK, which got a couple of surprised looks from the table.

"Come on, now you show me!" Staats insisted, but Panjwani declined.

"It's like Vegas, you gotta buy a ticket to see the show."

Caitlin Comeskey
Caitlin Comeskey

Caitlin Comeskey opened under-the-gun to 60,000 and action folded all the way around to Adam Hendrix in the big blind who three-bet to 250,000.

Comeskey made the call and the two went heads-up to a flop of 2KJ, which saw a bet of 175,000 from Hendrix and a call from Comeskey.

On the 9 turn, Hendrix checked, and then Comeskey thought for a few seconds before she announced that she was all in for 780,000.

Hendrix then went deep into the tank for close to two minutes before he finally shook his head and threw it away. Comeskey then showed him AQ with a smile as she dragged the pot and the table erupted.
