Fitzpatrick Doubles Through Sonnier

Level 15 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Level 14: Blinds 2k/4k/4k

Jason Fitzpatrick moved all in preflop for 42,500 and Gregory Sonnier made the call to put him at risk of elimination.

Fitzpatrick then quickly flips over the goods of AA, something Sonnier was not excited to see as he tabled AJ.

The board ran out 591028 for Fitzpatrick's aces to hold and he was awarded the pot for the double.

He then moved all in preflop the next hands and managed to scoop the blinds for a nice pickup.

Vora Gets There...Again

Level 15 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Level 11: Blinds 1.5k/3k/3k

On a heads-up flop of 667, Randall Brooks led out for 15,000 but then Sanjeev Vora moved all in for around 45,000 total.

"Well, I guess I'm gonna double you up again," Brooks sighed as he made the call to put Vora at risk.

Sanjeev Vora: 78
Randall Brooks: AQ

Brooks was ahead on the flop with his ace-high, but true to Sanjeev form, the turn smacked down the 5 to immediately give him the straight and left Brooks drawing dead. The 3 on the river was just a formality and Vora was pushed the pot for the double.

"That's the third time he's done that to him!" Another player laughed, and Vora just smiled as he stacked his new chips.

Thomas Fades a Heart to Double

Level 15 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Ben Thomas
Ben Thomas

Level 10: Blinds 1.5k/2.5k/2.5k

On a heads-up flop of 968, Nicholas Burnett bet 15,000 but then Ben Thomas moved all in for 92,000 total.

Burnett thought about it for a few seconds but eventually made the call to put Thomas at risk and tabled AJ for the nut flush draw, but Thomas already had the flush with KJ.

The board ran out AJ, just adding insult to injury as it gave Burnett a meaningless two-pair and most of his stack was shipped over to Thomas.

Bevans Folds the Flop with a Straight

Level 14 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

On a heads-up flop of 8910, Karim Bevans led out for 50,000 but then Lam Tran moved all in to cover him. After some considerable tanking, Bevans open-folded 67, a straight, and the entire table lost their minds.

"I can't improve!" he proclaimed, " He could have so much that can draw out on me, I would have to fade so much, and I have to make Day 2." This sparked a lively debate amongst the players on whether or not that was a good move, and Tran did show K4 for a flush draw.

Richards Shoves Twice

Level 14 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Robert Rector opened to 22,000 from the hijack and Mustapha Tokko called on the button, but then Jessica Richards moved all in from the big blind for 95,000 and both players folded.

The following hand, Rector opened again to 22,000 and Richards shoved on him once more, but this time she covered him. After some thought, Rector open-folded pocket sixes while Richards dragged the pot.
