Vitalii Zimkovskyi: K♠10♠
Angel Orozco: A♠J♦
Zimkovskyi needed some help from the board and looked to be heading for the exit after the 9♥7♦3♦ flop and J♠ turn, with Orozco ahead with a pair of jacks.
However, the K♥ rolled off on the river to put Zimkovskyi into the lead with a pair of kings and give him a timely double-up.
Vitalii Zimkovskyi opened to 5,000, only to be faced with a three-bet to 12,500 from Pierre Calamusa in middle position. Fabien Serkissian then produced a cold four-bet jam for 23,000.
Zimkovskyi got out of the way but Calamusa made the quick call.
Fabien Serkissian: J♣J♠
Pierre Calamusa: K♦Q♣
Serkissian was ahead in a race, but the Q♦4♦2♥ flop put Calamusa in front with a pair of queens, a lead he would not relinquish on the 7♠ turn and 10♥ river.
Marecek Pavel moved all in from early position for 11,000, Justin Steinbrenner called in middle position and Mattia Tagliavini moved all in himself for 43,500 from the hijack. Steinbrenner got out of the way.
Marecek Pavel: A♣8♠
Mattia Tagliavini: Q♦Q♠
The board ran out Q♣6♠3♠6♥5♣; Tagliavini's turned full house had Pavel dead and he was sent to the rail.
