Day 2 of the PokerStars France Poker Series €2,200 High Roller will see a field of 181 players battle it out for the title. Currently it is Frenchman Kamel Marzouk who leads the way in chips, having bagged 710,000 in Day 1a. Play is scheduled to resume at noon local time at Sporting Monte-Carlo.

Eduard Simonyan of Armenia claimed the Day 1b chip lead, bagging 670,000 good for second place overall. Vladimir Heinich of France sits in third with 663,000 chips, and Paul Runcan of Romania takes 4th with 595,000. In fifth is Day 1a runner-up Bruno Khalifa with 564,000.

Play will resume at Level 16 with blinds on 2,000/5,000 with a 5,000 big blind ante. The players are fighting for the bulk of the €2,336,640 prize pool, generated by the 1,217 entries across both flights.
