Peery Eyed: Firas Sadou Eliminated in 15th Place ($4,619)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante
Firas Sadou - 15th Place
Firas Sadou - 15th Place

Bruce Peery is on a crazy run over the last few hands, which culminated in him busting Firas Sadou and shooting over 1-million chips.

After raising from the button and taking down the blinds, including Sadou's big blind, Peery and three other players saw the flop on the next hand after a Wayne Smith preflop min-raise.

The flop was {4-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and the action checked to Smith. Smith c-bet, making it 80,000. Peery called behind and the action fell to Sadou. Sadou shoved all in for his last 265,000 and Peery called when the action folded back to him.

Peery had flopped a straight with {5-Spades}{6-Spades} against the two pair of Sadou, {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. The turn and river completed the board with, {2-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and that would send Sadou to the rail.

Peery stacked the pot and is not the chip leader with over 1.2 million chips.

Poitinger Loses to Nines, Twice

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

Glen Poitinger just lost two hands in a row to a different player, both times the player held pocket nines.

The first hand Poitinger lost about 120,000 to Zach Andrews and the second time, he lost almost as much to Michael Ermie.

On the hand against Ermie, Poitinger three-bet in position and Ermie called.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Ermie checked and Poitinger led for 33,000. Ermie called.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and Ermie checked again. This time Poitinger bet 55,000. Ermie called again.

Both players checked the {k-Spades} on the river and Ermie turned over {9-}{9-}, which was good enough to beat the pair and busted flush draw of Poitinger.

Smith Four Bet Shoves

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

Wayne Smith just four-bet shoved over Firas Sadou with apparently the same hand.

The action started when Steven Stout min-raised from early position to 24,000. Smith called and Christopher Lee also called.

In the big blind, Sadou raised to 79,000. Stout folded and Smith reraised all in for 305,000 total. Lee folded and the action was on Sadou.

He struggled with his decision briefly, then decided to fold. He asked Smith if he had queens and Smith said he had jacks.

"Really?!" replied Sadou, "we had the same hand. Anyone else I call, anyone else but you."

A few players at the table snickered at that, and the dealer sent the pot to Smith.

Jeff Ziegler - 16th Place

Jeff Ziegler was eliminated when he shoved all in from the big blind against Steven Stout.

Stout limped the small blind and Ziegler shoved for his last 50,000. Stout got a count, then decided to call.

Stout was ahead with {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} against the {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts} of Ziegler. He flopped a set on the {5-Spades}{k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} board and sent Ziegler home, on the first hand back from dinner.
