No Elimination for Ju

Level 11 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Samuel Ju
Samuel Ju

Samuel Ju and Maciej Przemyslaw were heads up on a turn of 10852. With 55,000 chips already in the pot, Ju checked from under the gun and Przemyslaw jammed all in for the size of the pot.

Ju went into the tank, asked for a count, and asked the dealer to spread the pot. Eventually, he decided he could not lay his hand down and made the call with the covering stack.

Maciej Przemyslaw: JJ All in
Samuel Ju: Q8

Ju was looking for a heart or one more of his hole cards, but the 6 river brought none of them. Przemyslaw raked in a huge double-up while Ju was left with around 35 big blinds.

Chuttani Flips Out Funari

Level 11 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Sahil Chuttani raised to 3,500 from the cutoff and received a call from Michael Mazilu on the button. Christopher Funari then shipped in 37,100 from the small blind and Chuttani made the call before Mazilu got out of the way.

Christopher Funari: 109 All in
Sahil Chuttani: 88

Funari could not hit the A75Q2 board and he was consequentially eliminated from the Main Event.

Nguyen Ships Big With Kings

Level 11 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

On a completed board of 4QJ105, and with 65,000 chips already in the middle, Daniel Lenham went all in for 30,000 chips from the hijack.

Tommy Nguyen was his opponent, in the cutoff, and made the call after thinking it over for a bit.

Lenham sighed and tabled AJ for a pair of jacks. Nguyen showed KK for a better pair and sent Lenham home while chipping up to a six-figure stack.

Reconstructed Flop Leads to Double-Up

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

When the action was caught, Antoine Savaria and Pablo Villena each had 6,000 in chips in front of them, along with 7,500 in the pot. However, apparently, the dealer thought that the hand had finished and mucked the flop.

The floor was called over and thanks to the help of some players on the table, the 1098 flop was eventually reconstructed. The deck was then reshuffled and play went on as normal.

On the subsequent 6 turn, Savaria bet out for 15,000, after which Villena jammed all in for 32,300. A quick call followed from Savaria and the cards were tabled.

Pablo Villena: J7 All in
Antoine Savaria: A7

Both players had a straight, but Villena had the higher one. The 5 river did not bring a chop and the unconventional pot was shipped to Villena, leaving Savaria with less than ten big blinds.
