Day 1c of the $5,300 Mediterranean Poker Party Main Event at the stunning Merit Royal Diamond Hotel in Northern Cyprus kicks off at noon local time today.

This marks the final of three standard starting flights, with an additional Turbo flight scheduled for 9 p.m. tonight. Players can look forward to plenty of time at the tables, kicking off with a hefty stack of 300,000 chips and going through 12 levels, each lasting an hour. Blinds commence at 1,000/1,500 with a 1,500 big blind ante.

In total, 698 entries were recorded across the first two first starting flights, with 172 players advancing to Day 2. Mikhail Zavoloka is at the top of the leaderboard with 3,585,000 in chips followed by "Ali G" with a commanding stack of 3,300,000 chips, closely followed by Mitchell Johnson (3,290,000), and Canada's WSOP bracelet winner Ami Barer (3,060,000).
