Breaking Bad

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

We've put another level in the books, and the three gentlemen are stepping away for a quick break. We'll be right back with a fresh batch of hard counts from the table.

Hall Sliding

Galen Hall raised on the button and Viktor Blom defended his big blind.

The flop came down {k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Blom checked. Hall bet 90,000 and Blom called quickly, landing the {3-Diamonds} on the turn. Blom checked over to Hall who after a few moments bet 235,000. Blom called rather quickly again and the {A-Clubs} hit the river.

Both checked and Blom tabled {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a flush to win the pot.

Hall Helps Himself

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Viktor Blom made it 80,000 to go from the small blind, and Galen Hall called from the big to see the flop.

It came out {3-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {4-Hearts}, and Blom continued out with another 100,000. Hall matched it, and they check-checked through the {6-Hearts} turn. On the river, the {2-Clubs} drew one more check from Blom, and Hall only needed 125,000 chips to coax a quick fold from his opponent.

Hall Notices

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

"Does anybody remember the last pot I won?" Galen Hall just piped up in between hands. "Like, even taking the blinds?"

It has indeed been quite a while, maybe even more than 20 minutes since chips were pushed to Hall's corner.
