Gumz Busts Hissou

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

PokerNews caught the hand as Fabian Gumz moved all in on a turn board of {6-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Sirzat Hissou made the call to put himself at risk.

Sirzat Hissou: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Fabian Gumz: {8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Gumz was in the lead with his turned two-pair and the river {4-Hearts} sealed Hissou's fate. The pot was pushed to Gumz as Hissou stood up and headed to the re-entry desk.

Veldhuis Puts Bussieres to the Test

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Lex Veldhuis and Jonathan Bussieres were heads-up in a three-bet pot with the flop reading {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Veldhuis checked to Bussieres who threw in a bet of 3,000 into a pot of around 8,000. Veldhuis check-raised to 7,200 and Bussieres called.

The {4-Spades} paired the board on the turn and Veldhuis splashed in a bet of 20,000, putting Bussieres to the test for his remaining stack. Bussieres wasted little time before dispatching his cards and Veldhuis claimed the pot.

All In Pre; Both at Risk

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Daniel Custodio and Diego Ventura got all the chips in preflop, with both players at risk as they had the same exact count.

Daniel Custodio: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Diego Ventura: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Custodio started off ahead in this classic flip, but the board of {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades}{a-Spades}{a-Hearts} proved otherwise as it gave Ventura trip aces on the river to take the pot, eliminating Custodio.

Plante Nearly Wins with the Worst Hand

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Frank Russo
Frank Russo

Frank Russo limped in from under the gun which allowed Justin Liberto and Santiago Plante to come along from the blinds. The flop came {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and the action checked around to the {7-Spades} on the turn. Plante finally threw in a bet of 800 and only Russo called.

The river was the {5-Spades} and Plante fired out another bet of 800. Russo quickly called and Plante tabled {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

"F***!" Russo exclaimed as he shook his hand. He frustratingly threw his cards, which were the {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, face up on the table. "Oh damn," I almost threw those away," he said, noticing that he had the best hand.

Watch "Poker Bunny's" Erratic Exit from the PCA Main Event

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Poker Bunny
Poker Bunny

The often erratic Paulina "Poker Bunny" Loeliger had quite the lapse in judgment upon busting on Day 3 of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) Main Event.

Upon tanking for a few minutes when facing a wager for her entire stack against Daniel Custodio, a clock was called and she called only to find out that her hand was no good. She didn't simply table her cards and just walk away. Instead, she quickly shoved her cards facedown under the deck in the muck before pushing one card back in her direction, then attempted to push her other card back before the dealer grabbed it.

Loeliger then reached across the table in the direction of the chips in the pot but the dealer again prevented that from happening. What exactly she was trying to accomplish is known only to Loeliger, but it caused a little stir at the table.

PokerNews was there and captured a video of the incident.

Seidel Continues to Slip

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Erik Seidel and Jake Schwartz were heads-up in a pot with around 7,500 in the middle. The board read {j-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Seidel check-called a bet of 4,500 from Schwartz.

The river was the {6-Hearts} and Seidel checked again. Schwartz splashed in a bet of 12,000 and this time Seidel was forced to send his cards to the muck.
