Polson Puts On His Cape

A pot was picked up on the turn between three players including Terry Polson in the big blind.

With 7,800 in the center already, the board read 2♣4♥6♦5♠ and action checks to the player in late position who bets 2,500 which only Polson calls.

On the river 9♦, Polson checks over to his opponent who bets 6,600 which sends Polson into the tank. After some time he called and his opponent said "good call."

The late position player turns over J♣10♠ for jack-high while Polson shows A♦5♦ for a pair of fives which is good for the pot.

The flop rolls out A♦8♠4♣ and Broeder checks over to Gardner who bets 2,200. Broeder raises to 5,500 which Gardener calls.

Broeder bets 10,500 on the turn 6♣ and Gardener calls.

The river A♠ sees Broeder check over to Gardener who bets 20,000. Broeder shakes his head and shows 8♦4♠ for a counterfeit two pair as he folds.

Gardener shows A♣4♥ to show that he was behind the whole way as he rakes in the pot.
