Action was heads up with a big pot in the middle and 3♣6♣J♦8♥ on the board when Ritesh Patel bet 23,000 and Brian Arbaugh called.

Wendy Lu was seen bringing in a double after she got 32,000 in on a flop of 5♥7♦10♦. She turned over A♥10♥ and beat a diamond draw when the board finished up 10♣K♣.

On the very next hand, Lu raised to 2,500 and Dale North called from the next seat over before a player on the button made it 10,000. Lu and North called to see a flop of K♠3♠3♥.

Lu and North checked the flop and the player on the button shoved 42,000. Lu went into the tank before she called with exact change and North shoved when it became his turn. Lu went into the tank once again but she eventually got away from it and the cards were turned up.

North showed K♦J♦ and the button turned over A♠J♠. The board finished up with 5♥ and 3♦ and North dragged a big pot.

The latest Destination RunGood series stop came at Horseshoe Tunica, where Michael Esquivel was crowned the champion after a deal with Loi Hoang at the start of heads-up play.

The event drew a total of 662 entries - one more than the previous trip in November 2023 - and the top 82 players split up a prize pool of $337,620. Esquivel dominated a wild final table to finish with the big stack for a top prize of $55,321, along with the RGPS ring.
