Paplyk Puts the Pressure On

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Matthew Paplyk opened to 13,000 from early position before it folded to Larry Mansfield on the button who only took a minute before putting in a three-bet to 31,000. It folded back to Paplyk who thought it over for a moment before putting out a stack of chips large enough to put Mansfield all in.

He went deep into the tank and after about two minutes he called it off for his tournament life.

Larry Mansfield: AQ All in
Matthew Paplyk: AK

Paplyk would flop him almost dead on the 8K5 board. The A turn would seal the deal and the 3 river only improved Paplyk to the nuts. Mansfield hit the rail about 25 from the money.

The cards hit their backs and the table saw the ladies were flipping for win.
