Chen Forces Le to Fold

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

With the board reading {j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Shi Chen bet and then faced a raise to 37,500 by Allan Le. Chen moved all-in and Le asked for the chips to be pulled in. It was another 25,100 on top of that to be called and Le reluctantly sent his cards into the muck.

Solano Rivers Trips and Gets Paid

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

There was heads-up action between Maury Solano from the button and the small blind with a completed board of {q-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades} showing.

The small blind led out for 3,000 into a 10,000 pot and then called the 14,000 raise from Solano.

Solano quickly rolled over {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for trip nines and collected the pot after his opponent mucked their hand facedown.

Tam Bombs The River

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Heads-up on a flop of {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, Mustapha Kanit was in the big blind and check-called a 3,200 bet from Joshua Tam, who was on the button.

Kanit checked again on the {4-Hearts} turn and Tam continued for a 13,200 bet. Kanit then check-raised to 27,500 and Tam called.

The {j-Diamonds} completed the board and Kanit checked. Tam cut out a bet to 100,000 even and slide it into the middle. Kanit asked for a count and then folded after a bit of thought.

Metter Wins Race to Double Through Ivens

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Todd Ivens raised from the button and then called the 25,000 three-bet jam Brian Metter made from the big blind.

Brian Metter: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Todd Ivens: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

Metter was behind until an ace appeared in the window on the {j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{a-Clubs} flop.

The {k-Hearts} turn didn't change a thing nor did the {2-Hearts} river and Metter collected his double-up.
