Play was halted for the day part way through Round 2, with plenty of play left to go before the final table is reached. Official counts show that 72 players remain. Dave Orvis at Table 2 reported an end-of-day chip count of 88,000, but no player has a dominant edge over his table at the present time, and at least six players remain at all nine tables.

We're still in the second round of the shootout and have ended play for the day. Things in the second round went somewhat slow without too many bust outs occurring. Players are really trying to grind it out to that final table.

Terry Borer just eliminated Chuck McCormick when his rivered a queen-high straight. The flop gave Borer an open-ended straight draw and he hit an eight on the river to knock his opponent out.

The turn was and Kim bet. Gee made the call. The river was the and Kim bet. Gee called again and then mucked his hand when Kim showed two queens. Correa also mucked and was eliminated.
