Haylie Duff Halloween Poker Fundraiser

With Halloween right around the corner, it's time for one of poker's more interesting fundraisers with the Second Annual Haylie Duff Halloween Fundraiser. Online gaming site "igotpoker.com" is cosponsoring the event and is looking to capitalize on the success of last year's star-studded event.

This years event will be held October 30, 2005 in downtown Los Angeles and is set to once again raise money for The Trevor Project: a unique, 24-hour, free suicide prevention hotline.

According to igotpoker.com's president Brad Mitchell, giving is key to helping those less fortunate. "Igotpoker.com is pleased to be taking part in The Haylie Duff party this Halloween. It's always a pleasure to give back to the community and our clients. To benefit a great charity like the Trevor Project makes it even sweeter."

A virtual who's who of the young and famous are invited guests, with most expected to appear. Names like Hillary Duff (Haylie's sister) Ashley and Jessica Simpson, Paris and Nicki Hilton, the casts of The O.C., and That 70's Show, as well as punk rockers Good Charlotte, who will be attending the AirParty Event presented by Greg Carney. With all the star power expected, the event will be taped by MTV for a yet-to-be titled reality show that will air in the coming months.

The poker event will include numerous red-carpet arrivals, a celebrity best-costume contest, an ice sculptured-filled grave yard garden and a chance to mingle with Hollywood's hottest young celebrities.

Although primarily known as a veteran of the online gaming industry, IGotGaming, the parent company of igotpoker.com, is trying to further establish it's brand recognition by teaming up with a trendy, young crowd and it appears they have found it with this charitable venture.
