WSOP Announces 2009 Live Streaming Schedule

The World Series of Poker has announced the schedule of final tables that will be streamed live over the Internet during the 2009 WSOP. Twenty-four final tables will be streamed, 12 each over espn360.com and bluffmagazine.com. (PokerNews’ own extended ‘Live Reporting’ coverage of the 2009 World Series begins next week.) The 24 events are separate from the four events already planned to be filmed for broadcast by ESPN, including the Main Event itself. The 24 broadband events include such plums as the $50,000 HORSE Event #47 (ESPN360) and the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha World Championship Event #45 (Bluff).

Said WSOP Commissioner Jeffrey Pollack, ”We are proud to provide the culminating action of so many prominent events to a worldwide audience in real time. This online initiative will complement our spectacular television package on ESPN and deliver even more of this year’s milestone WSOP to fans who want the most immediate coverage possible.”
