A four-handed deal took place in the Sunday Million this week. Holding the chip lead when it was made was "Kipu," who was also on top of the counts when the final table began. A key hand for "Kipu" occurred with six players remaining. In the small blind with KK, "Kipu" was happy to see action as "rastafari898" picked up AQ. Relatively short-stacked, "rastafari898" got it in with the big ace but was unable to overcome "Kipu's" kings.

Riding that momentum, "Kipu" began heads-up play with about a 1.7:1 chip lead. Eventual runner-up "vonBaranow" got off to a rocky start heads-up but managed a bit of a comeback. However, holding A9, "vonBaranow" ran into "Kipu's" superior A10. A KK348 board was all she wrote, giving the victory and the top Sunday score to "Kipu."

Entering the final table third in chips, "Pokerfred99" started to make a move toward the top with seven players remaining. After min-raising on the button, "Pokerfred99" was faced with a decision after "freshleo111" shoved from the big blind. With chips to spare, "Pokerfred99" called with A8 and was up against KJ. The board ran out a safe 99232 to give "Pokerfred99" the boost that led to making it to heads-up play.

Holding more than a 3:1 chip lead versus "akb1," "Pokerfred99" took it down a few minutes into heads-up play after calling "akb1's" all-in with A3. Tabling Q6 "akb1" hoped to survive, but was unable to do so as the board ran out A6445 to secure the victory for "Pokerfred99."
