Win Big Points and Cash in the Upcoming Carbon League VIP Freeroll
There is no reason why players shouldn't be taking part in the $15K Carbon Poker League and with league changing points up for grabs in tonight's VIP freeroll, there is even more reason to take to the felt.
Win League Changing Points
When the first VIP freeroll was set to take place in November, PokerNews told its players that the event would change the whole Carbon League leaderboard and that's exactly what happened.
It was "xxMTVxx" who won that first VIP freeroll and they received 120 league points, which saw them skyrocket up the leaderboard and take the top spot for many weeks to come. In fact, "xxMTVxx" is currently leading the leaderboard with the same 120 points they earned in the first VIP freeroll!
The freeroll costs 50 Carbon VIP points and thanks to Carbon Poker and PokerNews, there is also a very generous $1,000 added to the prize pool.
The freeroll is scheduled for tonight, (Thursday) at 1700 GMT (1000 PDT) and the winner is set to receive a huge 120 league points which could see them join "xxMTVxx" at the top of the leaderboard.
VIP Freeroll League Point Payouts
Make sure you don't miss out on this freeroll as there will only be one more taking place before the Carbon League wraps up.
The last freeroll will kick off on Thursday, Dec. 29. These freerolls are not to be missed since they award so many points and give players the best opportunity of qualifying for the Big Final.
Follow the Leader
Below is a look at the current leaderboard and, as you can see, if you happen to finish in the top few places in the VIP freeroll, then you will easily crack the top 10 on the leaderboard.

The Big Final
The reason everyone is playing the Carbon League is so they can secure a spot in the Big Final which will award a huge amount of cash to players.
The Big Final is scheduled for the conclusion of the Carbon League events on Jan. 8 at 1800 GMT (1100 PDT) and the top 30 players on the leaderboard will earn a spot in the tournament.

Earning League Points
While the VIP freerolls award the most amount of points, it is the weekly Carbon League events which consistently award plenty of points for players to start making their way up the leaderboard.
There are two league events which award both cash and league points, starting with the weekly $3.00+$0.50 ($50 added) Tuesday tournament, and then concluding with the weekly $5.00+$1.00 ($100 added) Friday tournament.
The way league points are awarded in the Tuesday event is outlined below, while the Friday event awards double the points!
