This past weekend, Moorea Beach Club Beachside Casino at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas played host to Tiger’s Poker Night presented by the World Poker Tour benefitting The Tiger Woods Foundation. On Friday, May 16, some of the biggest names in poker joined celebrities for the exclusive, 50-person, $10,000 buy-in poker tournament.

Among those in attendance were of course Tiger Woods; Dallas Mavericks owner and star of ABC’s Shark Tank Mark Cuban; The Bachelor host Chris Harrison; Kunal Nayyar, who plays Raj on The Big Bang Theory; the WPT’s Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten; and poker superstars Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari, and Phil Hellmuth, who actually was the event’s emcee.

Tiger’s Poker Night was a part of Tiger Jam, which started in 1998 and has raised more than $14 million for programs of the Tiger Woods Foundation. Other events at Tiger Jam included a concert by One Republic and a golf outing.

As far as poker was concerned, the tournament was won by South Africa’s Kinesh Pather, an amateur who finished runner-up to Daniel Cates in the WPT Johannesburg Alpha8 $100,000 buy-in tournament earlier this year. Woods managed to make a deep run — going further than he did the year before — but ultimately fell short of the final table, which ended up including both Negreanu and Esfandiari.

After play concluded, Phillip Phillips treated everyone to a poolside concert. Obviously it was an enjoyable night for all those involved, and you can check out some photos from the event courtesy of the WPT and Joe Giron.
