  • Qualify for the 2016 WSOP Main Event via online satellites running all month on WSOP.com.

  • Players in regulated markets can qualify for the WSOP Main Event in a number of $200 satellites.

In 2003, Chris Moneymaker qualified for the World Series of Poker Main Event via a $39 satellite and turned it into $2.5 million. That win cemented him in poker legend and lit a fire under poker players everywhere, who now strive to repeat that dream of turning a satellite victory into a life-changing cash.

For the 2016 WSOP Main Event, WSOP.com is running a number of online satellites available in regulated markets of Nevada and New Jersey through which players can take their shots at repeating Moneymaker's epic feat.

$10,000 Seat in Nevada

On the Nevada site, players can fire a $200 reentry satellite every Sunday at 5 p.m. The tournaments run every Sunday in March with one seat guaranteed in each satellite and late registration and reentry lasting two hours. Winners receive $10,000 in WSOP tournament buy-in chips.

$13,000 Package in New Jersey

In New Jersey, the prize package is even heftier. Just like in Nevada, satellites will run Sundays in March at 5 p.m. and feature two hours of reentries and late registration. In addition to the $10,000 in WSOP tournament chips though, winners also get $2,000 for travel expenses and a $1,000 entry into this year's online bracelet event for a total of $13,000 in prizes.

25 Seat Scramble

Finally, if there's one satellite to circle on the calendar, it's the 25 Seat Scramble. Returning again this year, the 25 Seat Scramble will run July 9 at 1 p.m. in Nevada. It's a $200 buy-in with 25 seats guaranteed into the Main Event. According to WSOP.com, super-satellites into the 25 Seat Scramble are "coming soon."
