Wynn Poker Ups Its Game with a Brand New Room

Wynn Poker Room

Wynn Las Vegas recently unveiled its new poker room, expanding the room and taking its levels of luxuriousness to new heights.

The new poker room at Wynn is now located across from the Encore Players Club and comes in at 8,600 sq. ft., which is well over double the size of the old room. The new room will feature 28 tables, including a special four-table, high-stakes area, and it's the distance between the tables that stands out the most in this regard.

The old room had 25 tables, but like most poker rooms in Las Vegas, and around the world for that matter, space was at a premium with rooms trying to accommodate as many players as possible with as many tables as possible. When you think of Wynn, you think of luxury, and something that comes with luxury is space and comfortability. That's what the new Wynn Poker Room has. You no longer need to worry about bouncing the back of your chair off the player's chair behind you, nor do you have to turn sideways to walk in the aisles.

The second most noticeable change is the color scheme of the room. While some might not think this matters much, the bright, welcoming decor is much more inviting than that of a dark, gloomy poker room we've all become accustom to.

Additional features for the new room are USB ports at every table for players looking to charge their devices, restrooms located right inside the poker room instead of outside, and a sports-betting window because we all know poker players love to be able to wager on the games. And for those placing bets and looking to watch the games while they play, the new room comes with 37 65-inch high-definition televisions, appropriately placed so players at all tables throughout the room have a view.

Inside the high-stakes area is a special VIP cashier's cage with cash boxes available to players.
