Today CardRunners instructor Andrea “birdayy” Rispoli covers essentials of small-stakes no-limit hold’em Zoom that are equally applicable to other “fast-fold” games.

As Rispoli points out, you can (and should) engage in some player profiling when playing Zoom and similar games, working to identify weaker opponents in the pool in order to exploit them. He offers some interesting thoughts about how players give away information online just by how they choose to present themselves (e.g., their stack sizes, showing VIP statuses, even their choice of avatar). Rispoli also notes how you also should be monitoring your own patterns so they won’t be exploited by others, in particular when it comes to protecting your checking ranges.
