Brendon Rubie opened for 21,000 on the button and Greg Merson re-raised to 58,000 in the small blind. Timothy Adams folded his big blind and Rubie called.
The flop came , Merson checked and Rubie bet 40,000. Merson called and the turn came . Merson check-called 80,000 and the river came . Both players checked the river and Merson tabled .
Toan Trinh opened to 20,000 on the button and was called by Anthony Gregg in the small blind and James Schaaf in the big blind.
The flop fell and Gregg led out for 33,000. Schaaf called, but Trinh popped it to 100,000. Gregg ducked out of the way, Schaaf quickly called, and the hit the turn. A check from Schaaf led to a Trinh bet of 100,000, but he found himself faced with a decision when Schaaf raised all in with the bigger stack.
Trinh went deep into the tank, about three minutes worth, before he called with . Schaaf tabled for trips and held up through the river to end Trinh's tournament in seventh place.
Brendon Rubie opened on the button, Greg Merson called from the small blind and Andrey Gulyy popped it to 63,000 from the big blind. Rubie called and Merson let his hand go.
The flop came , Gulyy bet 94,000 and Rubie called. The turn came and Gulyy bet 100,000. Rubie tanked for a good while before he elected to call.
The river came the and Gulyy took quite a bit of time to make his decision. He announced all in and Rubie called quickly.

Gulyy was disgusted by the turn of events and tossed his cards across the table in frustration.
On the first hand, Torrey Reily opened with a raise from the cutoff. James Schaaf three-bet from the big blind, Reily called, and the flop came down .
Schaaf bet about 300,000, covering Reily's stack. It didn't take long for Reily to call all in for 123,000 with . Schaaf was open ended with , but failed to hit when the turn and river fell.
The third and final day of Event 28, $2,500 No Limit Hold'em Four-Handed, of the World Series of Poker is set to begin. Just eight players return spread across two tables and will play down to a winner. Brendon Rubie leads them all with 1,682,000.
James Schaff sits 500,000 behind Rubie in second place. Greg Merson, Timothy Adams, Andreyy Gulyy, Anthony Gregg, Toan Trinh and Torrey Reily remain in the field.
Ninth place finisher Jason Koon was eliminated with just one hand remaining in Day 2. Accordingly, they had a complete redraw when they bagged their chips. They'll be seated as such:
