The final flight came to its conclusion today. 58 entrants made their way into this flight, creating a total of 291 entrants to play The RunGood Poker Series Main Event at Atlantis Resort and Casino in Reno, Nevada. Seven players survived the flight to join the other 26 players on Day 2, each one of them guaranteed $1,030 and all eyes on the first place prize of $34,150.
Adam Saven ended the day with the most chips, sitting at 501,000. Saven’s Hendon Mob dates back to 2022 and he has quickly amassed $106,922 in live earnings. He collected a cash at last year’s RGPS Reno, but will be looking to grab his first RGPS ring tomorrow. Sasha Guerin took home 475,000 which was good for second on the leaderboard. Guerin also holds a RGPS cash and found a late night surge up the leaderboard after knocking out David Stamm.

The other five players who bagged were Doug Englekirk (299,000), Marco Espinosa, (173,000), Matthew Betti (160,000), Dallas Elwell (68,000) and Kim Le (65,000). Tyler Patterson could not find things going his way in this flight. He joined fellow RunGood Ambassador Michael Loncar on the rail, along with Bob Mather, David Stamm, Paul Sampson, Papa Karn, and Lindsey Kludt.
Play ended with 22:11 left in Level 15 with blinds at 4,000/8,000 with an 8,000 big blind ante. The 33 players will return at this blind level tomorrow.

The flop rolled out 7♦8♥9♥ and Guerin checked over to Stamm who bet 20,000 and Guerin called.
On the A♥ turn, Guerin checked over to Stamm who bet 40,000 which Guerin responded to by raising to 90,000 which Stamm called.
Guerin moved all in on the 5♣ river for 80,000 effective and Stamm called.
