15 WSOPC Circuit Rings and $3.3 Million Guaranteed at WSOPC Playground
Table Of Contents
The fantastic Playground in Montreal, Canada, is set to be crammed to capacity with poker players from far and wide between April 8-23 because the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) is in town. The Playground has hosted dozens of prestigious live poker events over the years, but WSOPC Playground will be something else.
The bustling schedule features 15 WSOPC ring-awarding events with buy-ins from $250 to $3,300, and each of those ring events boasts a guarantee in its prize pool. The largest of those guarantees, a whopping $1,500,000, is reserved for the $1,700 Main Event, which will help Playground award no less than $3.3 million by the time the last person out of the building turns off the lights.
The Colossus kicks off WSOPC Playground on April 8, the $300 buy-in event guaranteeing a cool $500,000. Players have the choice of 11 starting flights in The Colossus between April 8-13, with the worthy champion capturing the series' first ring and massive top prize on April 14.
All 15 events will be well-attended, and becoming their champion will require players to bring out their A-Game. Events such as the $400 Monster Stack, $800 Mystery Bounty, and the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em $100,000 guaranteed are nailed on to be fiercely fought over.
High-stakes specialists have a two-day High Roller running from April 22-23. It costs $3,300 to enter and guarantees $500,000 in the pot. Late registration in the $3,300 High Roller remains open until the start of Day 2. Buying in fashionably late would result in your entering the mix with a shade over 13 big blinds.
$1,500,000 Guaranteed WSOPC Playground Main Event
The $1,700 buy-in, $1,500,000 guaranteed WSOPC Playground Main Event is the showpiece tournament on the schedule, and the one event everyone wants to win. A trio of Day 1s are available, each with unlimited re-entries until the end of the 12th 40-minute level. Players can play in as many Day 1s as they wish, but only their largest stack is put in play on Day 2 if they progress more than once.
Day 1s end at the completion of Level 17 or when only 5% of the field remains.
The Main Event levels extend to 60 minutes on Day 2 and Day 3. Day 2 ends after Level 26, and Day 3 continues until there is a winner.
It is worthwhile noting that Day 1A has a capacity of 315, Day 1B has a capacity of 405, and Day 1C can accommodate 603 players. There will be an alternates list, but try to register for your ideal flight sooner rather than later because seats in the Main Event will be in high demand.
