Alberto Giacobbe started playing poker simply “to have fun with my friends.” Four years on, the Economics student now enjoys playing online and occasionally fits in a live game with his friends. He currently favours No Limit Texas Holdem and 5 Card Draw. The Italian plays both tournaments and ring games equally. Winning a $12,500 Aussie Millions Freeroll is Alberto’s biggest poker success to date and he was “really happy” when he found out the good news. He proceeded to celebrate his win by having “dinner with my friend Fabio.” When not playing poker, Alberto also enjoys soccer.
