Brett Collson hails from Buffalo, New York. After studying sports management in college, Brett entered the world of sports media and covered Major League Baseball and college basketball in Philadelphia. His works have been seen on several major media outlets, including CBS Sports, Yahoo and Fox Sports.

Brett first covered the World Series of Poker in 2008 and joined the PokerNews Live Reporting team in 2010. In September 2011, he was hired full-time as Associate Editor.
