Eric Ramsey
Eric Ramsey
Originally from Syracuse, New York, Eric Ramsey now makes his home in Raleigh, North Carolina. He studied Music Education at Appalachian State University until 2005, learning how to play penny poker in the dorms and lounges around campus.
He joined the PokerNews team in early 2008, and he now serves as the Senior Live Reporter and a Senior Staff Writer. In his time on staff, Eric has covered dozens of tournaments on six continents, including the last four World Series of Poker. When he's not blazing the tournament trail, Eric spends his free time at home surrounded by music and sports.
