Avi CohenAvi Cohen Makes a Bold Bluff; David Tran Looks Him Up
In a hand that saw zero action on the flop and turn, sparks were flying on the river as Avi Cohen attempted to take the pot away from David Tran with a bluff.
The board read
and Cohen checked to Tran who fired out a 350,000 bet. When the action got back around to Cohen, he announced "raise," and proceeded to up the ante to 1,900,000!
The monster raise sent Tran into the tank for a moment, but he eventually made the call. Cohen revealed
for nothing but ace high, and Tran showed 
for an ace-high flush.
For those wondering why Tran did not reraise Cohen on the river, Tran explained, "He could've had a straight flush."
After the hand, Cohen dropped to 2,200,000 in chips, while Tran improved to 5,800,000. -

Ronald Kluber is on the Move
Ronald Kluber, David Tran, and Philip Hilm saw a flop of
. All three players checked the flop. The came off on the turn. Kluber bet 200K and David Tran raised to 550,000. Hilm passed and it was back to Kluber. He moved all in for 1,950,000 more. Tran thought for a bit, but eventually gave it up. Kluber took down the pot and, just like Tran, is now at 3,600,000 in chips. -

Ray Henson (first in chips with about 8.5 million) and Scott Freeman (third in chips with about 6.5 million) are seated right next to each other at Table #2.
In this photo (taken during the break), Henson's chips are on the left (seat 3) and Freeman's chips are on the right (seat 4). A lot of Henson's higher-denomination chips (25,000) are difficult to see from this angle, but trust us, they're there.
With a little over 127,000,000 in play, these two players control about 11.8 percent of all the chips in the tournament. -

All three players checked. The peeled off on the turn. Banghart bet 250,000 and both Ho and Childs passed. Banghard took down the pot and is at 1,100,000 in chips. -
