In the hand where Philip Hilm doubled through Scotty Nguyen, we mistakenly reported Scotty Nguyen as being down to about 1.35 million. That should have been 2.35 million. We've corrected the post, and we wanted to make sure that everyone was aware that fan-favorite Scotty Nguyen's chip situation wasn't quite as dire as originally reported.

. The eights survived, and as the pot was pushed to Jerry, he smiled and looked over at his parents on the rail. His mom and dad are happy their son won, his mom glancing heavenward saying "Halleluljah!"
Jerry has two sons and five daughters. He lives in Los Angeles and works at a hospital. His parents live in Laos and this is their first visit to Las Vegas. Amazingly, they have 32 grandchildren!
Jerry's parents don't speak very much English but they will tell you "Son -- very good boy!"
