Hand #179-- Scott Seiver Eliminates Dave Seidman to Win the $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em Event

Seiver called and Seidman raised to 200,000. Seiver called and the flop came {9-Spades} {7-Hearts} {3-Spades} and after Seidman checked Seiver bet 380,000. Seidman raised to 980,000, Seiver quickly moved all in and Seidman called.

Seiver's {K-Spades} {9-Clubs} was ahead of Seidman's {A-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}, and as the crowd pushed closer the {5-Hearts} fell on the turn and the {3-Hearts} on the river. Seidman's hand didn't improve and, after so many players survived all ins today, Seidman was the last to have his hand fail to catch up. Dave Seidman wins $482,372 as today's runner up, but it's Scott Seiver who dominated this final table and led wire-to-wire to win the bracelet and the $755,891 first prize.

Seidman raised to 150,000 and Seiver reraised to 485,000. Seidman stared Seiver down before laying down his hand.

Seiver limped and Seidman checked. The flop came {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {6-Clubs} and Seidman won the pot with a 100,000 bet.

Seiver raised to 150,000 and Seidman called. The flop came {9-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} {5-Spades} and both players checked. The turn was the and {3-Clubs} both players checked, and when the {7-Clubs} fell on the river Seiver bet 85,000 to take down the pot.

Seiver limped and Seidman called. The flop came down {6-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {9-Hearts} and Seidman bet 80,000. Seiver called and the {9-Diamonds} came on the turn. Seidman bet 250,000 and Seiver called.

The river was the {4-Diamonds}, both players checked it down, and Seidman's 9-8 was good enough to take down the pot.
