Day 2 Final Chip Counts Released

With the final-table lineup set, Harrah's has now verified the chip counts as reported by the finalists in Event 44, $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em w/ Rebuys. Jesse Chinni's late surge will give him a healthy lead entering the final table; Chinni is stacked at 2,160,000 overnight. The complete leaderboard:

Day 2 Concludes

We began with 115 players at the start of play today, and over the course of a little less than 13 hours, we have whittled that number down to just nine. The action was frisky most of the day, only marginally slowing down near the money bubble. Even when we got to our final four tables, there was no shortage of big confrontations and game-changing pots. Despite the deep stacks, the players were by no means afraid to get in there and mix it up for heaps of chips. The mood was serious and aggressive for the majority of the day, setting the stage for tomorrow's nine-way showdown.

The final table will have a very international feel to it, as it contains players from all over the world. There is little doubt that the Danish will be well-supported by their cheering section. If today is any indication, it's going to be a little rowdy inside the Final Table Arena.

When the players return, they will be playing for the top prize of $693,444 and a coveted gold bracelet. Tomorrow's action kicks off squarely at 2:00pm local time, and we hope you'll join us then.

Jamie Rosen Eliminated in 10th Place ($39,854)

After an hour or so of sizing each other up, the players finally played a monster pot, and it ended with Rosen going broke. Here's how it went down:

Phung Ngo kicks it off with a limp from the lowjack seat. Jesse Chinni calls in the hijack, Scott Freeman calls from the cutoff, and Curtis Kohlberg follows suit from the small blind. Jamie Rosen checks his option.

Five players see the flop come . Kohlberg checks, and Rosen puts out a bet of 42,000. Ngo is next, and he raises it up to 100,000. Chinni flat-calls, and Freeman and Kohlberg both fold. When it comes back to Rosen, he announces, "All in." That is enough to get Ngo out, but Chinni quickly makes the call.

As soon as he calls, Rosen asks, "You have sevens full?" He turns over . And he is right. Chinni turns over the nuts, , leaving Rosen drawing to only the case three. It never finds him as the turn and river come and respectively. Rosen is knocked off on the final table bubble, earning close to $40,000 for his two full days of work.

Greenwood vs. Chinni

Max Greenwood raises first in from early position. Action comes all the way around to Jesse Chinni in the big blind, and he makes the call. The two men see the flop come down . Chinni checks, and Greenwood puts out a bet of 65,000. Chinni calls.

The turn brings the . Chinni checks and calls a bet of 110,000.

Fifth street: . Chinni checks. Greenwood says, "All in." When asked, he begins to methodically count down his stack, and Chinni learns it will cost him 302,000 to call. After a minute or two, he slips his cards into the muck, and the pot is pushed to Greenwood.

Now It Gets Slow

For really the first time today, action is slow and measured. The players are taking their time, playing small pots, and cautious about making mistakes. Very few pots are going to showdown in the last half hour.

Dzianisau All In

Scott Freeman is leaking chips. Just moments after losing that big pot to Iversen, Freeman is tangling again, this time with Aliaksandr Dzianisau.

Before the flop, Dzianisau moves all in from early position for his remaining 112,000 chips. A couple seats over, Freeman makes the call, showing . Dzianisau tables , and is racing for his tournament life.

The board smiles on the at-risk player, coming down . Dzianisau makes his straight to win the pot, doubling himself up close to 250,000.

Iversen Grows His Chips

From under the gun, Albert Iversen puts in a raise to 31,000. Action passes around to the cutoff, where Scott Freeman makes the call. The flop comes down . Iversen bets 40,000, and Freeman calls.

Fourth street is the . Iversen keeps the heat on, betting out 100,000. Again, Freeman tags along to the river.

The last card off double pairs the board with the . No slowing down now for Iversen, he fires another 210,000 at the pot. Sure enough, Freeman puts in the call. Iversen tables , and Freeman throws his cards into the muck. With that win, Iversen delights his Danish fans standing nearby, and moves well up the leaderboard, now sitting near the 900,000-chip mark.

Mouritsen Climbs Further

Curtis Kohlberg opens the betting with a raise to 35,000 from the hijack seat. Rene Mouritsen makes the call from the button, as does Albert Iversen in the big blind.

The flop comes down . Iversen checks, and Kohlberg continues out with a bet of 60,000. Iversen ducks out.

The turn brings the and both remaining players check.

Fifth street is the . Kohlberg checks, and Mouritsen puts in a bet of 70,000. Kohlberg makes the call and is disappointed with what he sees. Mouritsen shows down , having flopped a full boat. He rakes in a pot, taking a big chunk out of Kohlberg's stack.
