Rep Porter, champion of Event #9

After three grueling days of six-handed play, Rep Porter has bested the field of 1,236 runners to take home the title of champion in Event #9, $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em / Six-Handed. Not only does he earn $372,929 for his first-place finish, but he also has been presented with something that every poker player dreams of: a WSOP gold bracelet. Porter started the day third in chips and was able to time his moves effectively to outlast the field. Congratulations Rep.

NotasGreatDane: 2008-06-07; I would guess. D. Porter's the only one that I know up that has Final table experience. He's finished 4th or higher in two WPT Events which is no small feat. And he's a smart player, so if he doesn't get dangerously short-stacked, he's got a great shot to win it.
