    Cocktails!

    Earlier, we mentioned a player at table Blue 41 who had only 15,000 in chips remaining and was hanging on for dear life. That player is Juan Hernandez, and he did indeed make the money with around 10,000 in chips remaining. ESPN camera crews have came over and filmed him several times. He recently ordered a round of drinks for his fellow tablemates. Once those drinks arrived, they all did a toast on camera and started playing this level.

    "Viva Las Vegas" could be overheard from another player at the table.

    Still Coloring Up

    The staff is coloring up the black 100-denomination chips, now that the ante is 500. When that finishes, the level 15 timer will begin, and we will play our last level tonight.

    There promises to be many bust-outs during that span of time!

    Celebrating the Money

    All the players at Table #7 in the Orange section just ordered shots of tequila for the entire table. When they arrived, the players toasted to making the money and then downed their shots.

    Let the chips fly!

    A Chip and a Chair with No One in It

    We've published two posts today about the elusive Fernando Gordo who has failed to appear at all today. The question has been asked and many a side bet has probably been placed on whether his 137,900 would make it into the money. I can tell you it was close, very close indeed. He has made it with a grand total of 1,100 left behind!

    A yellow 1,000 chip and chip with a 100 value, enough for three more antes. Fernando runs so good that he also managed to win the race-off for the 100 chips so now has a grand total of 1,500. Ship it!

    Steve Chung - Bubble Boy
    Steve Chung - Bubble Boy

    Bubble Boy

    It had to happen sooner or later to someone, and that unfortunate soul is Steve Chung. His adversary was Jesse McEuen holding {K-Diamonds} {K-Spades}, and it was with {8-Clubs} {8-Hearts} that Chung decided to gamble, and it all went in preflop.

    The board ran out {2-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {6-Spades} to eliminate him.

    It would normally be the worst position of all to finish, but thanks to Milwakee's Best Light he already has his seat for next year's Main Event locked. Bad luck nonetheless.

    Mads Andersen Sweats the Bubble

    Mads Andersen and his opponent get it all in preflop.

    Mads: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
    Opponent: {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}

    Board: {3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

    Mads dodges some serious bullets on the end and now has 140,000.

    Bubble Burst?

    There was an eruption from the Blue section, and it spread throughout the room. It appears we have found our bubble boy. Details shortly! Three tables are still playing the same hand.

    Prunkos Goes Brokos on the Bubble's Bubble

    Andrew Brokos rasied to 9,000 from under the gun. Dominic Prunko called from the big blind.

    The flop came {Q-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {7-Spades} and Prunko led for 12,000. Brokos shipped it in and Prunko made the call.

    Prunko held {7-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} from the big blind and Brokos held {8-Hearts} {7-Hearts} from under the gun.

    The turn was the {10-Hearts} and then the river was slapped on the felt... the {8-Spades}!

    Prunko took this sick beat to go out a few spots short of the money.
