Winner of Event 45 - $10,000 World Championship Pot Limit Hold'em

John Kabbaj has a long list of poker accomplishments scattered all across the world, and now he can add a WSOP gold bracelet to that list. The gregarious resident of Watford, England outlasted a field of 275 runners in this penultimate $10,000 World Championship event to claim the title, the jewelry, and $633,335 in cash. During a long Day 2, Kabbaj would take control of this field as the night pressed on, chipping up to a massive lead. Still, the final table today was no cakewalk, and Kabbaj was up and down and nearly out several times. After 198 hands of play though, he bested Russian Kirill Gerasimov to take home the win. Congratulations to John Kabbaj on his first gold bracelet!
