Day 3 completed
And on that cooler of a note, we have our last eight, Finland's Santeri Valikoski taking the chip lead into tomorrow's final table.
Seat 1: Peter Murphy -- 546,000
Seat 2: Ben Roberts -- 419,000
Seat 3: Edmund Sweeney -- 407,000
Seat 4: Santeri Valikoski -- 1,722,000
Seat 5: Rob Sherwood -- 497,000
Seat 6: Paul Carr -- 1,596,000
Seat 7: James Mitchell -- 1,155,000
Seat 8: Declan Connolly -- 735,000
It's been a long, yet hectic day, with more highs and lows than a mountain range, but after 13 hours of play, nine plucky survivors have gone that one bit closer to fulfilling their dream of becoming Irish Open Champion.
One man in particular, Rob Sherwood, is already going home with more booty than he could have imagined, the online pro from Manchester fending off numerous other online qualifiers to end the day as the last man standing, an achievement that sees an additional €100,000 drop into his back pocket.
Many congratulations to him, and all of this year's finalists. Join us again tomorrow at 2pm as we look to whittle eight down to one. Until then, stick a fork in me, I'm done.

Out of the blue, we had an all -in, Santeri Valikoski verbally pushing for 401,000 in the small blind, and Richard Robinson snapping him off in the big.
The beauty of having to wait for the cameras to arrive is that it gives you a valid reason to slowroll, so it took a while before we found that Valikoski had a monster.
Upon seeing

towering over his

.
With Robinson's chances turning to dust, we are now down to the last (but not final) table. One more to go...
