Today began with 56 players returning for Day 3 of Event #13 $1,000 No Limit Hold'em. Eliminations came fast and furious as player after player was eliminated on our march to the final table. Among the casualties were well known pros Ylon Schwartz, Burt Boutin, and Andy Black.

The final nine players are an ecclectic mix of players including amateurs, some of which have had past success at the WSOP, a pro hailing from Dublin Ireland, and an online superstar in Jared "TheWacoKidd" Hamby. The final nine players are:

Seat 2: Daniel Thomas (602,000)
Seat 3: Matthew Vance (1,731,000)
Seat 4: Jeffrey Gross (281,000)
Seat 5: Mats Gavatin (393,000)
Seat 6: Nicholas Heather (993,000)
Seat 7: David Baker (2,553,000)
Seat 8: Kyung Han (613,000)
Seat 9: Steven Gee (1,540,000)

Players are set to return tomorrow for Day 3 at 2:30 pm local time to play for the $472,479 first place prize and a WSOP gold bracelet. Check back tomorrow for the latest updates as we play down to a final table.
