Six Nixed

We arrived to find Michael Six all in preflop, with a side pot forming between Andy Black and Felix "River Me" Gubitz.

"You don't want to write this down," Six told us. "Please don't write this down."

Black and Gubitz saw a {4-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop.

"Um, I check," said Gubitz, giggling.

"I'm all in," said Black - this was actually corrected to a 119,000 pot-sized bet - either way, easily enough to cover Gubitz and his remaining 40,000 or so.

After a while Gubitz folded and the other two were on their backs. As it happened, Six got his wish - we only managed to catch three of his down cards before the dealer mucked them and Six took his leave.

Black: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Six: {j-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}(X)

Turn: {10-Hearts}

River: {7-Hearts}

"I thought you were giving me protection with my junk hand," laughed Six as he headed for the door, almost on the bubble. Black moved up to 300,000.
