It has taken two days to reduce the field from 360 hopefuls to 12 serious contenders, for the first WSOPE gold bracelet of the series. It is the final day and that means that whatever happens today someone will become a WSOPE bracelet owner. There is a player in the field whose wrist is accustomed to the feel of a WSOP bracelet and that is Phil Hellmuth. The self-proclaimed Poker Brat currently holds the record for most bracelets won (11) and he is desperate to claim his 12th today - he currently lies in 2nd place with 401,000 chips.
The player currently in the lead is relatively unknown live tournament player Guilluame Humbert. In fact this is his first ever major live tournament experience. Humbert starts the day with 541,000 chips.
Other players to keep a sneaky eye on today will be high stakes cash player David Benyamine and 2010 EPT Copenhagen winner Anton Wigg.
