A Hairy Situation

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

One of the tournament directors was standing by Frank Kassela's table just now talking with the players about Amsterdam. The TD shared that he'd spent an entire month there a while back. Pointing to the TD's bald head, Kassela joked that he must've had a good time as he had hair before the trip.

As the table chuckled at Kassela's remark players folded around to the 2010 WSOP Player of the Year who raised to 1,100 from the button, getting one caller in the big blind. The flop came {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Spades}, and the BB unhesitatingly bet 1,400. Kassela quickly called. The turn brought a fourth spade, the {K-Spades}, and both checked. They again both checked the {Q-Hearts} river.

When the player in the big blind paused, Kassela turned over his hand -- {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} -- and his opponent mucked.

"Great f***ing board," Kassela cracked in a what-can-you-do tone. "Finally get aces and have to look at four spades...."

Kassela still has plenty of hair left himself, although he might have pulled out a few there. He's sitting with about 30,000 at the moment.
