Jonathan Bakhshian Eliminated in 22nd Place ($11,748)

Jonathan Bakhshian finished Day 1b as the chip leader and began Day 2 third in chips overall. That stack took him a long way, but his run has just come to an end in 22nd place due to two big hands.

In the first, we caught the action with around 300,000 in the pot and a board reading {5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Bakhshian had bet only to have Kasra Khodayarkhani move all in for 365,000 total. "I have to call," Bakhshian said and tabled {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Khodayarkhani then showed {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} and held as the {6-Hearts} completed the board on the river, which left Bakhshian with around 850,000.

A minute or two later, Lee Abramson raised to 50,000 from the cutoff and Bakhshian three-bet to 225,000 from the button. The small blind folded, and then Jeff Fielder moved all in from the big. Abramson got out of the way and Bakhshian called off with {10-}{10-}. Unfortunately for him, Fielder had him crushed with {J-Spades}{J-Clubs} and held as the board ran out dry.

Bakhshian has been eliminated in 22nd place and will take home $11,748 for his deep run.
